Community Rules
Please read these rules carefully. Violation of these rules may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from the community.
1. Be Respectful
Treat all members with respect and courtesy. Personal attacks, harassment, bullying, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Disagree with ideas, not people.
2. No Spam or Self-Promotion
Do not post spam, advertisements, or excessive self-promotion. This includes unsolicited links to external websites, affiliate links, or repetitive content. Relevant links that contribute to the discussion are acceptable.
3. Stay On Topic
Keep discussions relevant to the forum or topic you're posting in. Off-topic posts may be moved or removed. If you want to discuss something different, find the appropriate forum or start a new topic.
4. No Illegal Content
Do not post content that is illegal, promotes illegal activities, or violates intellectual property rights. This includes pirated software, copyrighted material, and discussions of illegal activities.
5. Appropriate Content Only
Keep all content appropriate for a general audience. No pornographic, excessively violent, or otherwise inappropriate material. Use content warnings when discussing sensitive topics.
6. No Impersonation
Do not impersonate other members, moderators, administrators, or public figures. Your username and profile should not mislead others about your identity.
7. Use Search Before Posting
Before creating a new topic, use the search function to check if your question has already been answered. This helps keep the forum organized and reduces duplicate content.
8. Respect Privacy
Do not share personal information about others without their consent. This includes real names, addresses, phone numbers, and other private details.
9. Follow Moderator Instructions
Moderators are here to help maintain a positive community. Follow their instructions and do not argue publicly about moderation decisions. If you disagree, contact them privately.
10. Report Violations
If you see content that violates these rules, please report it using the report function rather than engaging with it. Do not "mini-mod" or publicly call out rule violations.
Consequences
Violations of these rules may result in:
- Warning: A formal notice of the violation
- Temporary Ban: Suspension of posting privileges for a set period
- Permanent Ban: Removal from the community for severe or repeated violations
